The QualityMarkTM process has been created as a tool to aid in achieving the goal of building a home with zero defects and a high level of quality resulting in one remarkable experience for all future homeowners.
There are several specific objectives of the QualityMarkTM process.
- To produce a high quality product.
- Identify defects in the home at a time when it is appropriate for business associates to respond.
- Identify and correct deficiencies before the future homeowner is introduced to their new home.
- To insure that the quality of the new home meets Epcon Communities standards of excellence.
A thorough QualityMarkTM inspection will occur prior to the New Home Orientation. At this time our construction team will identify any areas of concern and attempt to correct any deficiencies. Our thorough inspection is based on an extensive checklist covering all components to your new home including mechanical, structural and cosmetic items.
After closing, the new home warranty period will cover any defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. You will have the opportunity to submit a "45-day" list approximately 6 weeks after closing and a year-end list as your warranty nears completion. In addition, you will receive any manufacturer's limited and extended warranties for the various appliances installed in your home such as the furnace, water heater, air conditioning unit and kitchen appliances.
